Biomedical Engineering
Billy Carson is a PhD student in the Biomedical Engineering program at Duke University. He has a bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from The Ohio State University where he worked under Dr. Anjali Mishra studying epigenetic changes in cutaneous T-cell lymphoma patients via analysis of RNA-seq and ATAC-seq data. He has a master's from Duke in Biomedical Engineering with coursework focus on neural engineering and machine learning. Billy's research focuses on using deep learning techniques to analyze biomedical data.
